Denise leads Hilti Hong Kong’s sustainability and business development initiatives within the strategic business team, driving the integration of ESG principles into core operations to promote responsible growth and innovation across the construction sector. She brings a strong blend of business acumen and deep expertise in corporate sustainability, strategic sales management, and stakeholder engagement.
Denise holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong and an MBA from the University of South Australia. She is a Certified ESG Planner (CEP®) and Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®). Beyond her corporate role, Denise actively contributes to the advancement of the industry through involvement on the Lighthouse Club Hong Kong Safety Subcommittee, the Hong Kong Construction Association Health and Safety Committee, and as a co-opted member of the Communications & Membership Committee at the Hong Kong Green Building Council.
Passionate about empowering construction industry stakeholders, Denise champions innovative and sustainable solutions that foster environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

Johnny YU, is presently the Advisor to the Chairman and the Head of Sustainability Department at the Company. He joined in 2020, bringing with him 30 years of extensive experience across multiple disciplines, including sales and marketing, investment advisory, accounting, tax, and risk management and control. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Yu held various senior positions at UBS, Credit Suisse, and Price Waterhouse in both Hong Kong and London. Under his leadership, he successfully guided the Company to achieve the prestigious Business Leadership in Sustainability Award at the Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards 2022, organized by the World Green Building Council. Additionally, Mr. Yu won the Sustainability Leader of the Year as well as the Distinguished Sustainability Leadership Awards in Hong Kong Sustainability Award 2024, organized by the Hong Kong Management Association. Mr Yu graduated from The London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London with a bachelor’s degree in Management Science and attained his MBA degree in Finance with City University of London. He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.

Dr. Paul Kau is the Managing Director of Earth & Environment Services for the Hong Kong and China region. Paul is also WSP’s global co-leader for the Merger and Acquisitions (M&A) Practice Area Network (PAN), which focuses on technical excellence associated with asset transfers, particularly within the manufacturing sector and Asian ESG Committee Representative. He has carried out environmental health and safety (EHS) assessments, environmental impact assessments (EIA) and remediation projects throughout Asia for over 25 years.
Paul has also worked on numerous carbon and water reduction road-mapping projects, been a guest lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on Contaminated Land Management, committee member of the Hong Kong AGS Geo-environment Working Group and a consulting referee for the Australian CSIRO Research Publications.

As the Director of Schneider Electric Hong Kong’s Digital Energy, Power Products and Industrial Automation, Travis Kan drives the company’s energy management and industrial automation businesses via strategic initiatives, digital solutions, marketing, and partnerships. He serves as a trusted partner in delivering solutions towards carbon neutrality, working closely with end users, consultants and contractors to bring the latest innovations to the market.
Travis is a strong business development professional with a wealth experience in the energy industry. His previous roles span Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Business Development and General Management. Prior to re-joining Schneider Electric in 2023, he worked with leading companies, including General Electric and CLP, gaining a comprehensive pool of solid experience in power generation, transmission and distribution, control and automation, building energy management, and digital solutions.
Travis also serves as the Chairman of the Energy Institute (Hong Kong Branch), and a part-time guest lecturer for various universities in Hong Kong.
The HKGBC strives to promote the standard and development of sustainable buildings in HK by engaging the government, the industry and the public.
